National Shorthand Reporters Association

Ich habe in Vollzeit bei National Court Reporters Association gearbeitet

Pros

Flexible hours and the option to telecommute for some.

Great work life balance.

Competitive salaries and okay benefits.

Staff is passionate about the mission.

Kontras

Several staff have been fired, pushed out or laid off over the past few years.

Management is a mixed bag. Some are professional and some not so much. It’s not about what you can contribute or how hard you work but who you know and who likes you. If you’re not besties with the in crowd you won’t do well here.

There is no collaborative spirit. Communication isn't great unless it's gossip or inappropriate conversations. The organization rewards backstabbing, gossiping, throwing people under the bus and every other nightmare that can occur in the workplace.

Rat an das Management

Pay more attention to the value in all people you have on your staff... everyone not just the favorites.
