Court Reporting in Richmond

Court Reporters Certification

To receive receipt confirmations you must submit items using a method that will allow for confirmation on your end.

Once your papers have been received and reviewed you should, in turn, receive one of two items from the Commission:

  1. Notification indicating any corrections to be made (including any additional fees that may be due). Notifications are generally sent via email if an address is available; otherwise they're sent via, mail, or fax; or
  2. Your new certification, registration, CE approval notice, or exam eligibility confirmation (via lists posted online), requested documents, etc.

Please be advised that status checks will not be conducted unless deemed necessary by staff, e.g., if it has been more than 30 days since you submitted your paperwork to us, as turnaround times can run up to 30 days. Additionally, inquiries for status checks will only be accepted by one of the following methods: mail, email, or fax. Responses to inquiries will be submitted by mail, email or fax.
